This was my entry for the Nar Comic Underworld ultimate Mortal Kombat draw off. Which was a competition to draw a finishing move from the gruesomely gory computer game series: Mortal Kombat. My painting features the character Kung Lao performing a death move on the ninja Sub-Zero, using his characteristic steel rimmed hat (the competition stipulated that the picture must include at least one of the iconic ninja characters). The scene takes place in the Living Forest, which is one of the arenas from the original MKII arcade game. All the trees have faces, and the secret character (named Smoke) can be seen hiding in the background.
