The is the painted version of the rag-doll concept. The painting is a bit of a mash-up of digital painting and traditional media. A number of times during the process, I printed the digital picture and then worked on parts with traditional media, before scanning it again and continuing in digital. It's a slightly eccentric process but I feel it helps me strike a good balance between the power and flexibility of digital media and the precision and elegance of real pencils and brushes.
